The Week

The week, now passed, is drawing to a close,
And it had its fair share of highs and lows,
But then again, that’s how it often goes.
Some days might start with lots of sun
And end up dark and cold,
While others don’t seem very fun
Until we can be bold.
The week we had was not the week we chose.
