The Ending of the Week (Has Come and Gone Away)

Now that the ending of the week
Has come and gone away,
We stand upon a bitter peak
And gaze with great dismay
Upon the trials yet to come,
And all that they entail.
We will succeed, and not succumb
To loss.  We will prevail.
