It seems I was the lucky one
(Or blessed, perhaps).  I’ve had some fun
These last few days, but now I’m done…
It’s back to work I go.
Lift prayers for the ones who lost
It all this week.  Lament the cost
Of homes and jobs by tempests tossed,
And lives by winds that blow.
