The Future Yet in Store

It’s been a while since I came through this way…
And yet, it seems not to have aged a day.
Immortal, endless in its patient wait,
Yet eager in its thirst for blood to sate.
The ancient cycle once again begun;
I must admit, I’m having too much fun
Replaying something I have played before,
Remembering the future yet in store.
